Ayguemorte-les-Graves: AXA IM-Real Assets to acquire a 30,000 sqm logistics site from Quartus

AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets has reached an agreement with Quartus Logistique to acquire a 30,000 sqm logistics site in Ayguemorte-les-Graves, near Bordeaux, on behalf of clients.
The site, which is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2021, is to offer class A logistics space in five units. It will also include offices and a large number of parking spaces. The project is aiming for Breeam "Very Good" certification. Quartus Logistique will act as the developer.
Strategically located in Ayguemorte-les-Graves, south of Bordeaux, the site benefits from excellent power and transport links and a good supply of local labour," said AXA IM-Real Assets in a release. The site is in close proximity to the A62 motorway (which links Bordeaux to Toulouse). The region benefits from strong underlying demographics, with Bordeaux ranked among the ten most populous French cities. "
This transaction adds to AXA IM-Real Assets' European logistics portfolio, valued at €2.2bn.
