Opening of a new EOL office in the Grand-Est region
For several years now, EOL's strategy has been to extend its geographical coverage in order to be at the heart of the main regional markets by strengthening its territorial roots. Following the opening of an office in Normandy in 2022, we have chosen to deploy our services and expertise in the Grand-Est region. This opening, which brings the number of offices to 10, gives EOL nationwide coverage of all the key industrial and logistics property markets.
"The Grand-Est market is particularly dynamic, with its close proximity to Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland. It's a growth area for both French and European logistics. We're delighted to be opening this office," says Jean-François Mounic, Managing Director of EOL. The opening of this office will enable us to pursue our mission of supporting the entire industrial fabric - SMEs, ETIs, major groups, etc. - in improving their supply chains. It also enables us to work closely with all the local players, local authorities, economic development agencies, associations and federations.
The Grand-Est region has a number of advantages for optimising freight transport: numerous ports, 1,635 km of navigable waterways for river logistics, a high-quality road network and numerous freight airports. The region also boasts more than twenty multimodal platforms.
"Multimodality is a strategic issue, and diversifying modes of transport can help to reduce the carbon footprint of logistics, which has become essential for the industry," says Jérôme DAVID, the director in charge of this new office.
Jérôme DAVID has been an expert in industrial and logistics property for over 20 years, including 14 years with EOL. He is delighted to be taking on this new challenge and intends to deploy all his resources to find the solutions best suited to the needs of customers in the region.
