Logistics platform

Place where goods transit. As opposed to a warehouse, whose purpose is the storage of goods, a logistics platform is intended for cross-docking. By extension, the term logistics platform also designates a logistics activity zone made up of warehouses and platforms (e.g. Grans-Miramas in south-eastern France).
