RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification)

RFID stands for Radio Frequency IDentification. This technology allows an object to be identified, tracked and traced from a distance by means of a tag emitting radio waves, attached to or incorporated into the object. RFID technology allows tags to be read even without a direct line of sight and can penetrate thin layers of material.
